FAQ
<details open>

Question: Is this the RGB or bi-color version of the C60?

Answer: **Bi-color only** ($89.99) — 2500K to 6500K stepless adjustment, no RGB. If you need RGB color (music videos, gaming streams, mood lighting), pick the C60 60W RGB version ($109.99, +$20). If you only do white-light work (interviews, products, talking head, e-commerce), this bi-color saves $20 with slightly higher CCT brightness (8000 lux at 0.5m vs 7300 lux on RGB at the same wattage).

Question: What mount does it use — will my Aputure modifiers fit?

Answer: Mini Bowens mount plus a 1/4" thread for stand mounting. Mini Bowens accepts Aputure's smaller Mini Bowens softboxes (Light Dome SE/Mini, Lantern Mini) and Ulanzi's own Mini Bowens modifiers. Full-size Bowens softboxes need an adapter ring. Ships with a reflector, silicone diffusion dome, and optical condenser in the box.

Question: Does it have an internal battery?

Answer: Yes — built-in 14.4V / 3300mAh / 47.52Wh battery gives about 37 minutes at max 60W output, up to 8h40min at minimum brightness. Charging takes about 1h30min via the included DC adapter (19V/3.78A) or USB-C PD. The light runs while charging — no shutdown to top up.

Question: How bright is it really?

Answer: 8000 lux at 0.5m at 6500K (bare light, no modifier). CRI ≥95 and TLCI 96+ for accurate skin tones. Plenty for portrait, interview, livestream, and product key-light work at typical 1-2m subject distance. For larger sets or daylight overpowering you'd step up to the 120W series.

Question: What's the difference between US, EU, and UK versions?

Answer: Only the included DC power adapter's plug type. The light hardware, control, and performance are identical. Pick the version matching your wall outlets at home; for travel, the USB-C PD input works with any USB-C wall charger or PD power bank.

Question: What's the MT-79 Light Stand Kit?

Answer: The kit version ($112.44 vs $89.99 light-only) adds the Ulanzi MT-79 light stand — a 6.5-foot (~2m) collapsible stand sized for the C60 weight class. Useful if you don't already own a light stand. The C60 mounts via the included 1/4" thread or Mini Bowens spigot. There's also an Outdoor Kit (~$178.88) that adds a handheld battery grip for shooting away from outlets.

Question: How does it compare to Amaran 60d or Aputure 60x?

Answer: Amaran COB 60d (~$220) is similar in output and CRI but $130 more expensive, no internal battery (needs external V-mount), and slightly more refined cooling. Aputure 60x is bi-color too but heavier and 2x the cost. C60 bi-color at $89.99 with internal battery is the budget-friendly choice for solo creators and small-set work — trade-off is no app control and shorter battery runtime at full power.
