Pet Photography Tips from an Experienced Sony User:

The lens I use most frequently is the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II. The focal length of 70-200mm is perfect for capturing pets in various outdoor activities. For close-up shots, I also use a wide-angle lens like the FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G. Weighing only 353g, this wide-angle lens is lightweight and won't tire you even with prolonged use.

  • Focus Method: Autofocus, Eye Focus

Recording Technique

  • Shake Reduction: 5-axis stabilization
  • Self-Timer: 2s, 10s
  • Continuous Shooting: Supported (up to approximately 10 frames/second)

The ZV-E1's most significant innovation is its enhanced subject recognition thanks to the added AI Smart Chip, which marks a breakthrough in the camera's focusing performance. The chip intelligently recognizes and processes information about human posture to further improve subject recognition accuracy. It can recognize 7 types of subjects, including humans, animals, birds, cars/trains, airplanes, and insects. Additionally, thanks to the added AI chip, the ZV-E1 offers a range of powerful features such as real-time tracking, automatic image alignment, and super-stable dynamic gain stabilization. Of course, the ZV-E1 also includes popular product settings and the one-touch bokeh function for background blur.

Conclusion

Pets are our best friends, and capturing beautiful moments of them is the essence of photography. If you're a professional photographer, you'll need a more powerful camera. However, if you're just documenting your pet's everyday life, your phone can also be used to capture the shots.
