Answer: FM01 runs on a **swappable, rechargeable battery** with USB-C charging (use a standard 5V/1A plug). It is portable — you do not need a wall outlet during use. A green protective film covers the battery contacts; if it falls off, replace the battery for safety. This is the main difference from many bigger AC-only fog machines.

Pick FM01 for stage/event work with remote triggering; pick FM02 for run-and-gun outdoor video.
