In 2015, we were just a small team with an idea: make better gear for people who love making videos. This year, we were named the top-selling camera accessories brand worldwide. Here's how it happened—and what it really means to us.

Like many startups, our beginnings were simple. We started in Shenzhen in 2015 with a focused goal: to become a one-stop solution for photography and videography accessories that meet real user needs.

We didn't begin with hundreds of products. But even in the early days, we cared about making things simpler, more useful, and more fun to use. Our first designs were for creators who wanted gear that just worked—tripods that stayed steady, mounts that didn't slip, lights that fit in tight spaces.

Over time, this vision led to what we have today: two sub-brands (Ulanzi and FALCAM), over 3,400 product SKUs, and more than 400 patents. And we're still improving.

Building Gear With Your Input, Not Just Our Ideas

From the start, we built our design process around actual user needs—not just guesses. We listened to feedback from vloggers, filmmakers, and working professionals in more than 100 countries. Their comments pushed us to refine details we might have missed. Whether it was fixing a loose mount or redesigning a grip that felt off-balance, we acted fast. We still do.

We've always taken pride in improving quickly, not pretending we got it perfect the first time. This hands-on, user-centered approach is part of our design philosophy: blending simplicity, functionality, and innovation—while keeping a sharp eye on aesthetics and quality.

What No.1 Means to Us

Being named No.1 in sales is a milestone—but we see it more as a checkpoint. It reminds us that we're on the right path. It also pushes us to keep improving, stay flexible, and never stop listening. We're proud of our products, but we're just as proud of how they came to be: through constant conversation with people who use them daily. Today, our products have reached over 8 million users across more than 190 countries. Our TikTok account has passed 884,400+ followers and 4.4 million likes. And still, every comment we get matters to us.
