A 17mm thread case for the iPhone 8+. I’ve had this case for around a month now and have to say that I like it more than I thought I would. I was skeptical after seeing the price. Upon arrival and a close inspection. I found it to be much nicer than I anticipated. The case is mostly plastic. The back of the case is black and gray plastic with a metal insert for the 17mm threads. It has has a softer edge around the case to protect the edges of the phone. I wouldn’t call the edge piece rubber but, it is pliable and holds the phone snug. The buttons on the case appear to be made from the same pliable material and work well with my phone. The cutout for the mute is a good size and doesn’t interfere with access. The cutouts for the speakers and charge cable are well positioned as well.
I do have a couple of concerns as well. First is the thread connection with their lenses. Although the case looks to have 3 to 4 threads exposed, it only looks to grab only 1 thread on the wide angle lens. This appears to be as much the fault of the lens. It looks to only have 2 threads. Next is the screen is barely protected. The case needs to have a lip to help prevent the screen from contacting anything if dropped. At this point, anybody making cases should know this.
All and all. This is a good value and my phone has remained in this case since it arrived. It just looks good!
