I submitted an order for another Ulanzi video Cage for the iPhone XS Max in December 2019 and received the package last week with the WRONG product. The metal vlog case for the iPhone XS (SKU1388). Recently bought this cage for my iPhone XS Max. It's a very good cage that includes various cold shoes and threads for mounting different accessories such as lights, mics etc. The threads allow attachment to a tripod or to attach additional accessories such as a handle. Mine came with 17mm threads for lens attachment plus a extra mounting plate and two screws for use with the moments lenses.

Great product! I do wish it included another adapter for third party lenses for moment lenses and others. The added tpu case inside the rig is an added plus that no other smartphone cages offer. Ulanzi, if you’re reading this, please add a top handle that can be bought separately like your competitor-beast grip pro. Overall, I’d recommend it!

It’s an alloy holder for your smart phone. In this case for an iPhone X. It allows for the mounting of extra lenses in either 17mm screw or Moment bayonet, and for accessories such as mics and lights with the numerous 1/4 screw holes and the two cold shoes. The door and clamp system for mounting your phone is very secure, so it will not slip out.
