Yes it has a 1/4 20 thread female hole and it's a metal thread and also has two cold shoes one on ether side
What does the M button do? It says it switches between power and light. By power, does it mean that it shows the remaining charge in the battery? i
Hi when you push the M button the red leds light up showing how much power you have left.
Can this light be used to take flash photos with my slr camera? or does it stay on continuously?
Ulanzi VL49 is just a continuous light that works with any photo and video camera either mount it on the camera or stand it on a separate stand but it never change to a flash light.
